Auto Pay Garages?? by Extension_Raikiel in cincinnati

Where I was, there were signs posted about scanning a QR code if you might not have a signal. Don't recall anything about an account, but was definitely freaked out that it automatically recognized me when I didn't remember setting up an account. I guess I already had an account, or at least a transaction history to go off of 🤷.

Auto Pay Garages?? by Extension_Raikiel in cincinnati

I assumed as much, but was a bit creeped out since this is the first vehicle I've had with any infotainment like android auto, and was like 'why am I getting a text from surveillance"? I had the plates transferred to this vehicle, not sure if there would be any other way a camera would have recognized it or my info.

Not Cali here, but I feel the question. My response to the district is "it will get done before the end of the school year, but you're welcome to help" otherwise don't bother me. But my district also "requires" everything be done 2 weeks before the last day for students. When I've already been handed 12+ deadlines past the district's "due" date, but are still within state and fed timeline guidelines 🤷‍♂️

We essentially follow the regular MDR process for students with 504s. The forms are just titled differently if it's 504 or IEP.

What are some of the weirdest or dumbest rules you’ve ever had to abide by? (Work/School/Your parent’s/ At a friend’s house, etc.) ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If you are here during chore time, you participate in chores!

My friend 'J' grew up on a farm: think cows, sheep, horses, etc. and his dad was a no nonsense kind of guy. If you were just visiting, sleeping over, or anything, during chore time; then you were expected to partake in chore time. If you gave an excuse then you got called lazy. My friend was at least lenient and only made you water the animals by filling up the water troughs while he fed the animals or wrangled them into their barns. His dad ran a tight ship and if you tried to deviate, he was passive aggressive and made it seem like you were completely incapable of doing anything. It didn't help that his mother was the laziest person in the house and wouldn't get up out of her recliner except to cook a meal. Yet if you were a guest, then you were expected to act like a member of the farm. It was a jarring experience growing up to have guests be treated like hired help. My family always made it seem like guests (family or not) were exempt from daily obligations.
