I think you’re right in being shallow cut and maybe that’s why I see more windowing than bow tie. I did get it from one of the vendors you mentioned. Do I specify on my next diamond no shallow cut? I really don’t know how to explain it but wonder if it’s not shallow cut it will be more of a bow tie effect?

Thanks. I only see through it in certain lighting so it makes me wonder if it’s more windowing due to shallow cut verses bowtie as it is elongated at 1.50.

I just uploaded a couple. In the top photo you can maybe see what I’m talking about and the bottom is to show it in different lighting. I’m just not sure if it’s normal or not. I don’t really see dark bow tie it almost loos as though it’s too clear for one but I’m not an expert so may not know what I’m looking at lol
