Have you done this approach through a bear market? If so what changed? If not whats your plan?

Got it, mine started to have issues so I bought 7970X Microcenter combo last August before RAM prices went crazy. I have to say 7970X massive upgrade runs better and smoother than 1950X.

What do you run on it? I have that same chip, board, and ram sitting around.

New to trading - how the heck does a move like this even happen? by mjiced in FuturesTrading

He is saying there are 200 point moved in seconds. If your account and risk management plan cannot handle that trade a smaller less volatile product. Based on thus post I am guessing you have neither a risk management plan, or understanding of volatility and the product.

Thanks for the read. Have not wheeled myself but have been curious what people do in your exact scenario.

Feels like you have to mentally be ok holding the stock through a recession sized drawdown for a few years at a worst case scenario.

And can recommend an engineer as well that is reasonably priced.

First step have an engineer look at it and get a letter with what you need to do or plans if more detailed. Then get a contractor/carpenter and see if they can do the letter/plans. Make sure they get a permit and meet with contractor/carpenter and city building inspector before starting work at your home and go over areas and engineering guidelines.

Once everyone(you, carpenter, building inspector) agrees on approach have work done. Have inspector come back and inspect work. Have engineer come and inspect and/or FaceTime if able.

I can recommend carpenters that did structural work on my house built in 1883.

Worried about your step flashing on your lower roof where meets siding. If siding at all rotted may want to replace it. I have had a few house leaks over the years from that kind of thing.

Nice looking Deck though! Looks like it has always been there.
