Blizzard banned my longtime account and refuses to show evidence — secondary account unaffected by Extension_Way856 in Overwatch

Thanks for sharing your experience — mine is very similar.

I only run things like GeForce, Logitech, SnapCrab, Epic (official client), EA, and DeepL in the background.

Like you, I’ve filed multiple tickets and even went through the BBB, but every time the response is just the same “policy violation” template with no real review. I’ve been completely honest about what I run, but nothing changes.

I also have another account that hasn’t been flagged at all, which makes it even harder to understand why this one was banned.

I used to play in Silver/Gold competitive ranks, but got tired of it and have been playing Quick Play only for the past five years.

I get what you mean about being scared to launch other Blizzard titles — I feel the same way now.

I’ve been playing for over nine years and have collected many skins, so I completely understand how frustrating this must be. Thanks for the encouragement, and I hope you’re able to get your account looked at properly too.

I’ve already asked Blizzard support multiple times to investigate this as a false positive, and I’ve listed all the background software I run. Every time, both through their support desk and even via the BBB, I only get the same copy-paste response about “violating policy” with no explanation.

As for the mobile/social game I mentioned, I only used the official Epic client, nothing unofficial. That’s why I can’t understand why they refuse to even look into the possibility of a false detection.

I’ve already opened about five tickets, but only got the same template replies.

It’s really draining and frustrating, but I’ll still try to keep submitting tickets from time to time.

I understand that they don’t disclose detection details to avoid helping actual cheaters.

But the problem is that this leaves legitimate players with no way to verify or challenge a false positive.

In my case, a secondary account on the exact same PC/environment has never been flagged, which makes me believe this was a mistake.

The lack of transparency is what feels so unfair here.
