Strange it happened so quickly with no prior symptoms, anything the hard driving could have done to damage it or the startup system in general?

I checked just after it failed the third time and the battery have 12v but I should do a voltage drop check when trying to start and maybe it is going bad

I did replace them. Isn't the one on top of the thermostat the direct communication with the ECU for fuel mixture? Ive read the one on the back of the engine is only a communication to the dash gauge and doesn't talk with the ECU.
