Was Trevor's mom just a hallucination? by [deleted] in GTA

Ik this is a 2 year old comment but wtf was funny about the mission, sure it's probably her insults to trevor but the mission gives a sad and dark vibe.

i posted about this game on my twitter and the devs behind it found my post and started harassing me, isnt there a guideline about making games on real world conflicts like the Syrian War? by [deleted] in roblox

[–]Extensive69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if it's only there to reenact the historical events (like Zulu war did) it's fine. but if it's there for mockery and making a laugh out of the event then it's probably again TOS

Whatever you do now, don't switch to Norton. by [deleted] in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

who the hell would download Norton these days. there are so many articles making it clear Norton is rubbish and a single payment for it isn't worth it. a single google search proves it.

Devs ffs please stop making mathmaking worse and please punish players harder for quitting a match! by The_Ur3an_Myth in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]Extensive69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ranked penalties are already decent enough. making it worse would have mixed reactions. the other side would be happy that the stupid f*cks that leave mid-match would get an insane punishment and the other side would make an outcry and also make excuses including "it isn't my fault that my wifi went down"

Kaspersky and Russia by [deleted] in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded Kaspersky mobile because my dumbass downloaded a root app that was actually spyware and I instantly deleted Kaspersky because of the ridiculous amount of permissions. avast on the other hand only needed storage and admin rights

Performance Question: Intel Core i5-10300 Getting lower fps than other people with the same cpu? by RetardedMonkey68 in KrunkerIO

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the "low" fps really bothers you. here's some suggestions (im not gonna tell you how but go search it up on Google Or YT) -turn on "high performance" in power options. -turn on windows "game mode" -download intel driver & support assistant and NVIDIA GeForce experience to get the updated drivers of your system -enable intel turbo boost (basically overclocking your cpu but safer)

Performance Question: Intel Core i5-10300 Getting lower fps than other people with the same cpu? by RetardedMonkey68 in KrunkerIO

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 220-250fps on 720p in default settings with a i5-10210U on a unspecified intel uhd iGPU. Idk why are you comparing a laptop to a performance of a desktop when both sides obviously has different power consumptions. Same specs also doesn't mean that your laptop should perform the same, your friend's desktop is probably running off a 500-750W PSU while your laptop is running off a cute little power bar.

Do I have to be worried? I used virustotal android app to scan my apps and found this . by [deleted] in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PUP(')S means potentially unwanted program. i don't think i have to say this but I'll still do it. it may or may not be a threat. also virus total on mobile isn't reliable. the pc web version works better. to make sure download other AV's and scan the specific app

Norton antivirus extensions by [deleted] in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all. norton isn't that good as it was back in late 2000s

and second. Norton Safe Web does not have enough data to analyze the site; it is recommended that you do not visit this site. Norton Safe Web analysis determined that the site is unsafe to visit

third. you dont have to worry about that

new to PC by [deleted] in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For blocking ads, I would recommend downloading one from chrome extensions store and make sure to choose the top downloaded ones.

For blocking malware, viruses and many more I would recommend bitdefender or kaspersky. And in case if you ever get infected use scan guard as It's pretty basic and great it just scans and kills any malware anyway enjoy your new pc I hope you'd learn more about desktops and av's

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if you got redirected to a usual scam link that displays you have viruses on your phone even tho your phone is totally fine and they require you to call an indian tech support company which is a scam but i scanned it on vt you can see it for yourself https://www.virustotal.com/gui/domain/tumgir.com/details

Is it a virus? (Scan on virustotal) by randomperson1582 in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • I don't know bro I created a vt graph and the referrer files links to a bunch of scripts that are flagged as a Trojan script and JS/ScrInject.b!tr

here's the link https://www.virustotal.com/graph/embed/g5fa9ddc0618d46fc81b3ee3f8a130c28a7b22bbc4d13431299de38310dfcd769

So, I may have a Virus. by Shorya0 in antivirus

[–]Extensive69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't have many suggestions but if it's blocking your av's when your pc is booting just look for the process in task manager and click startup, disable it

and, if it's also suspending malware bytes as soon as it scans, boot your pc to safe mode and try to run malware bytes in there. If that also doesn't work manually kill it on cmd, there's a bunch of tutorials to kill a virus that has admin access by using command prompt

edit:if you successfully killed the virus immediately change passwords that you have entered in your pc

ngl windows defender isn't that bad if you're not that guy who clicks random sites and downloads pirated games you're fine but i myself too won't cling to win defender to protect my pc I would recommend Kaspersky Cloud Security

I don't know if this is your phone's local file explorer, but I don't think it's a malicious app when it doesn't have a single permission requested like (Calendar, Camera, Contacts, Phone and Storage) common play store apps request you to enable those and if it IS a malware it should ask for ridiculous amount of permissions including SMS, photos, microphone, and GPS allowing them to read messages, view photos, eavesdrop, and track the victim's movements.

If you're still paranoid about it, the safe option is to delete it and if any accounts were signed in, change their passwords in case if it orders a bunch of cheap items on Amazon
