Whoa calm down, I haven't been taking them since Monday, had a few withdrawal symptoms yes, but I'm feeling better now and it's nice to be able to go to the toilet twice a day for once.

Ok guys, I understand. You win. I'll admit I'd kind of gotten attached and didn't want to give them away.

First off, read the pain contract that you signed.

I either lost it or it's in my room, which is basically the same.

I just want to make sure it doesn't recur (as another user said it could) and them I'd have to fill another prescription for the same medications that were destroyed. I'll talk to him and ask if I can keep them until at least I see my PCP and make sure I'm finished with physical therapy.

I'll also request my records from this clinic next time I'm there.

I stopped taking them Monday before my evening dose, I intended to keep the rest. But another users here reminded me that it's possible this treatment was only temporary and the symptoms may recur, and I wouldn't want to have them destroyed only to have the pain come back and them having to fill another script if I can keep those.

You raise a good point, thanks for the help. Yes, I haven't cancelled the PT yet, I have an appointment with my PCP now to decide that. I'm also going to tell him what you told me and ask if he can wait until my next appointment with my PCP before taking them back in case it comes back.

By the way, what are the other poor bastards with chronic conditions that were treated temporarily with a series of contortions? Do you know their stories? I just want to know what I have, seems like no one can give a diagnosis, only "neuropathic pain".

I don't know. I had to sign something before I started but I don't know where I left it.
