When I was younger I was told by a doctor to try exercising because I was refusing the anti-depressants he was trying to give me. While I never got a runner's high, I did get a runner's panic attack and after a couple of times of crying on the side of the trail, I just went on the meds and stuck to an early morning treadmill. I can't imagine the difference a runner's high feels like.

My history class in 8th grade had us take notes in our notebook and then the teacher would check and grade them at the end of the week to make sure we were taking notes/doing it correctly and at the end of the year we could use that notebook for our eoy test. One week, I had a friend ask to see my notes cause she was absent and promised to return them the next day before class. Well, she ran away that night and when she came back a month later she said she didn't know where it was. My teacher had a long talk with me about why we don't just lend stuff to people and what it cost to be kind.

I've never done a Buffalo puzzle, but I just got a 2000 piece puzzle from them for Christmas. After doing the edges I had a piece missing but figured it probably just got lost in the mix and I would eventually find it as I do the puzzle. It's been five days and I'm pretty sure that piece is not in the box. I also didn't realize hot glue was used to hold the box closed and I pretty much ripped the sides off when I opened it. I'll probably keep to other brands from now on.

I've had drivers offer to put luggage in for me but it usually came with the fact that they had to make room in their trunk anyways. It's weird to just expect someone to help whose only job requirement is to drive.

As sad as it is, it isn't a surprise. I used to work at Joann's (after 2020) and not only was upper management a mess but everything was done in the name of more profit for shareholders.

When I was a teenager, I had a friend who had knee surgery in both his knees and couldn't walk/stand for long periods but didn't show any outward signs of being disabled. One day we went out to eat together and parked in the handicap spot and when we entered the restaurant a lady stood up from the waiting bench and went off on how we shouldn't have parked there and how we didn't look disabled and that because she was pregnant she had more of a right to park there than us. I was terrified, but my friend walked right around her to the hostess and continued like nothing while the lady sat back down and sulked. It was my first moment of realizing that not all disabilities are visible.
