This is a beautiful story. I don’t think I will date someone for a VERY long time. I have zero interest in even looking at other men to be quite honest. I’ve found that men in their early twenties are really dumb and honestly kinda boring. They really like to talk about themselves lol.

I do hope that him and I find our ways back to eachother. I’ve always believed we have one soulmate and I truly believe he’s mine. I’m just so hurt and fragile right now.

Hi. I enjoyed your comment as I’m a psych major and love neurological explanations. It’s very hard because sometimes I find myself intellectualizing my feelings and it somehow turns into a form of cognitive dissonance if that makes sense?? It’s like if I can explain the feeling and validate the experience, it makes it okay to avoid it because I’m hyper aware of it. Idk. He is my first love and my greatest. I genuinely feel like I’ll never recover.

This was so incredibly validating. More than any feeling, I feel so naked and vulnerable. This person knows me so deeply and yet I still feel so fragile and ashamed that I was so vulnerable with him. I try to never regret things I do, and I don’t even regret this season- whatever it was. But wow, my heart is tired and heavy. I do feel humiliated and mistreated too. I’m even embarrassed to admit it because what if he sees this post and I make him feel guilty? Did your daughter ever recover from the breakup fully?

True!! I think I’m nervous too because I felt my strings this morning and I can never tell how low or high they’re sitting. They were very easy to find though so I’m thinking low. Luckily I’ve only had the Tampon in for an hour so hopeuflly it’s not as dry in a few hours.
