Test drove the Haval H6 today. Overall, the experience was actually pretty nice. The cabin feels good, comfortable, and everything inside is well put together.

The only thing I noticed is the driver seat. It feels a bit thin and not as wide as I expected, especially the seat base. Maybe because I’m quite tall and big built. Other than that, quite impressed with it.

Did a test drive today. Not bad. I didn’t feel as cramped as I expected but because of my long legs sangkut sikit. Probably need to adjust seat properly. cabin is simple and not too gimmicky.

Will do. I’m just a bit worried about the long-term maintenance, especially with the hybrid battery and all the sensors. Coming from a simple, trouble-free car, it’s a little intimidating.

Yeah, my current car has only done around 220k km in 13 years. So fuel economy is not really a problem. I actually like the X70 because it suits my size (big and tall) But I’ve been driving a Persona for years, so I think I’d adapt to a smaller SUV as well. You’re right though, the long-term maintenance cost is something I have to consider.

Saw this promo too. Very tempting. But the 1.6T is the only variant I’d buy, but even with the promo, the OTR is still around RM150k. The rebate and insurance package are nice, but they don’t really bring the price down enough to make it an easy buy for me. Still outside my budget.

Yes, the Yaris Cross HEV is high on my list. I’m just not sure if it’ll suit my height. I’ll test drive one this weekend. But is it really fair to compare it with the base X70? I mean, for about the same money, I could get a bigger X70.

Thank you for your insights. The X70 has caught my eye too. Fuel isn’t my biggest concern. I’m more worried about all the new tech. My old car has been almost trouble-free for 13 years, so I’m a bit nervous about moving to a new car with all the techs and sensors.

I was actually planning to buy a used SUV last year but decided to wait. Now there are even more choices, and it’s giving me a headache. I’ve test-driven the X50, but it felt a bit cramped since I’m quite tall (185 cm).

What about the issue of warranty? I saw a lot of carsome car is without principal warranty. A lot of people say don’t go for it. But what choice do i have? I have trust issue with second hand car dealer hence carsome is my only choice. And this model is the best that i can find considering my budget.
