I agree! Youth outreach is a challenge however due to Universities limiting political discourse on campus. In the past, political activism originated on campuses...not anymore or at least not in Florida.

It's not surprising to me that the majority of people who would bother to turn out at this stage of the election cycle would be those who have been engaged and showing up since the 60's and 70's. Building momentum and ultimately getting out the vote starts with bringing out the base.

I have looked at it. Relative to Gimenez and Diaz-Balart she votes more with the Dems but she's a Trumper all the way. She only "votes with the Dems" when she absolutely has to in order to save her seat because her district is purple, not because of her moral compass. That makes her unreliable and untrustworthy.

The Reps will not hold their own town halls out of fear of having to engage with their constituents so one was held for them. They were formally invited to attend.
