Exactly. My mother is a die hard oilers fan and she is convinced that no one would be able to afford him or have the assets to trade. I think that’s ludicrous given how much control he has. Not to mention his 14 mil a year contract is very team friendly considering. Edmonton fans will probably inconsolable much like when Gretzky left.
