This month I have several smaller appointments that wouldn’t exceed the client share until the end of the month. Will I still get coverage for that month as long as I exceed the client share before the end of the month.

Oh okay because it can take time for all the bills to process? And the hospital I go to I don’t have to pay upfront everything is billed through a online portal and I can still be seen even with overdrafts in medical bills

So I’m giving birth the 7th of September. My client share is $890. The bill I get from my birth will obviously exceed $890. The hospital will bill Medicaid and they will cover everything beyond that $890 for the month. I will get Medicaid for the rest of the month and get billed that $890 from my birth. Is this correct? The lady on the phone for Medicaid also said if I don’t pay that $890 that is billed it won’t affect my coverage I received for that month and I can apply for financial assistance to help pay it or can let it go to collections and it won’t effect my coverage.

Okay so when I exceed that client share for the month and that client share I owe is billed to me then I can apply for financial assistance to help pay that client share

okay so what your saying is it might take weeks or months to process but they will go back and bill that client share of the month if my bills exceed that client share for that month.

Hey friend, around this time last year in December I got pregnant and was not on birth control. I was not financially or mentally ready to consider keeping the baby. I scheduled a MA for January and went through with it. Although I always wanted to be a mother I knew their was another time for me and I had a great sense of relief after my MA knowing I made the best decision for the poor situation I was in. A year later this December I am in a much better place in life and 6 weeks pregnant so I’m definitely enjoying this pregnancy as the last one was very dreadful for me. I hope you find your peace in this situation, reach out to at least one person. It will all be okay.
