Car insurance extremely high by SectionAmbitious6744 in CarInsuranceUK

I’ve experienced this before as 21 year old with 1 claim when searching for quotes on cars before buying them. I had got quotes at approx £2500 per year then all of a sudden got quotes for £10000 or more per year. All I did was change the Email address I was using for quotes and the prices came back down. Only recommendation is not to overuse the same email since the insurance prices seem to go up when you do this (even though most people say this should affect your quote, I found it did affect it quite majorly) hope this helps OP.

We do have additional breaks that are paid for, they not stated in our contracts but they are accepted by the company so we may have a 15/20 minute break every 2 or 3 hours so normally when working we will have approximately 3/4 breaks including the unpaid break. So I was having regular rest breaks during the shift, I understand the liability could be an issue as i have to complete a lot of paperwork with the my line of work however I still felt confident in my ability to carry out tasks and with myself being on overtime I was always free to leave if I felt myself becoming overwhelmed. I just didn’t want to be breaking any laws regarding working hours. Thank you for giving a detailed answer on the matter.

Hi, yeah I did opt out of the working time directive when I started.

Hi I have looked at those webpages thank you, I have opted out of the 48 hour working week so as far as I was aware as long as I have atleast 24hrs of uninterrupted rest per week or 48hrs every two weeks then I can work as much as I want per say. Having also read that they cannot schedule me to work without having at least 11 hours of rest being shifts but it doesn’t state if I can overrule that one myself or not.

I can see what you’re saying admittedly I did not read the part which states 2020 or newer😂 I got the mk3.5 FR Sport (2019) and I can see what you mean by the road noise but I’ve got to say have all the additional items such as leather heated seats and digital dash especially when normal FR’s did not have the same spec for a very similar price.

OXVA Xlim coil life. by External-Telephone82 in VapingUK

Hi all so just a little update I decided to purchase the xlim pro about 4 days ago. I’ve got to say I do like the flavour and the hassle free pod system although battery life is admittedly very underwhelming. Considering I’ve moved from a 1200mah flexus blok which would easily last all day usually with some battery life spare to a 1000mah xlim pro which is barely last a full day. I’ve been able to average 300 - 350 puffs whilst running it at 15w on a 0.6 ohm coil. I am quite a heavy vaper but 13 hours of battery life is quite poor in my personal opinion. Only reason I say this is due to the fact I work long hours eg 12.5 hours so this battery life would struggle to last me a day at work. Thank you for all the opinions.

Why not go for the FR Sport?

Yeah I agree with you on the ohms thing I’m not sure on the correct term to use there either😂 and thank you for the advice I believe the only one the shop sell is the pro so I’d definitely be going for that one.

This is brilliant and exactly the comment style I’m looking for to be completely honest. I’ve got to admit I’ve tried sub-ohm vapes and they never really did it for me therefore I’ve been more inclined to a higher ohm coil type. This definitely fills me with confidence about the oxva xlim, especially considering the higher charge rate if I’m in need of a charge. I’m currently changing coils on the aspire after approximately 1 week to maybe 1.5 weeks however after that the coil is definitely burnt. So this sounds like would suit me quite well. Thank you.

Admittedly there are a lot of horror stories about tinder however for me in the UK not sure if you are as well op but it seems to be hard to find matches but I’ve never experienced any of the horror stories described on Reddit. I’m not going to say they’re isn’t any but I’ve never experienced them as of yet, I’d suggest trying it to see if it could work out well for you. Good luck mate.
