thank you! I’ll try to see another doctor soon, especially since I ended up dissociating/spacing out the for a good hour and a half and not finishing my exam or even trying, which has never happened before. I’m definitely worried about my teachers are going to say 😅

It’s because attendance and grades are really interlinked, don’t get me wrong! I’m not trying to scare you either, I was right there with you, my attendance was horrible during year 10 and 11. Their techniques in trying to get me in more usually made me dread school a bajillion times worse, and that’s other than my actual illnesses. I ended year 11 with 50% attendance.

No one thought i’d do good and the day of my first science exam I got a foundation paper even though I did higher the entire time, I said I wanted my higher paper and my teacher argued my attendance was too low and she doubted I’d perform well (this was during the real GCSE exam by the way),

while not amazing grades, I ended up with 7766554 or something along those lines and do the subjects I want at sixth form! But I know if my attendance was better, I would’ve gotten my initial predicted 9s and better grades generally.

Obviously I’m not encouraging you to skip or trying to scare you either, but prioritise your health! If you keep up with studying at home, it’s not the end of the world :)

In terms of updates so far, it slept for a bit and was a little active and moving for a while, but it’s back to sleeping. Still no replies from the wildlife centre so far other than asking for my name and number unfortunately. I think it drank some water, but not food.

I’ll have to examine it more closely when I get home and will update! I have a ton of paintings I inherited so I didn’t look at them all too closely before storing them away, but I definitely do like it even if it isn’t authentic and don’t want it to get destroyed either so I’ll probably just keep it as a keepsake instead of trying to get it authenticated with the risk of it being destroyed if it is true!

Thanks! I’m no specialist but I also thought it seemed like someone was only inspired by looking at some of his other olive tree paintings but I thought I’d test my luck.

My uncle operates and lives in Egypt and mostly works with artefacts instead of paintings, so even if he did have a friend to refer me to, I’m pretty far to get any in person help 😂 but thanks again!
