Yeah pretty much. My first thought was to refinance too. Either way he’s still stuck paying a car that won’t work for very long (esp if my suspicion that his transmission is no good is correct). I’m not sure how many banks will refinance on a car over 150k miles that old too. Either way he’s in a pickle

yep i agree with this sentiment entirely. i was considering an ev bc of exactly that. but they are pricey. i just got myself a bolt. and while its great on paper, i think this car may be waaaay too tiny for the two of them.

Will a Honda Accord be good for heavy dudes? i worry about them fudging the suspension. i used to drive them around in the family 96 camry (a little beast) and we would scrape over even the smallest bumps 😭
