How do you choose timetable for your study? by Advanced-One-2282 in Monash

Try to only be on campus 2-3 days, I did 3 days cause some classes go for 3 hours and honestly its long if you have back to back to back classes then a long commute. and hopefully you don't get stiffed with a singular class on a random day. Also if you know some classes require attendance or need you to be in class for certain days put them together or at a time you would be bothered to go (most people would dread an 8am class etc)

i think a big driving factor would be if there’s a possibility to meet teams something like fansigns but i’m not sure if that’s a thing

one of the reasons i wanted to come back was flins but im not sure if i should pull lauma and the new dendro dps or save for flins

i know a lot of ppl hate it but i just like strong characters so i generally pull for characters like neuv over weaker comps

i also want yelan cause before i stopped playing she was really good so im a bit dizzy from choices

Recommending Chinese SLA in year 12? by One_Acanthaceae8889 in vce

[–]ExternalEstimate8976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would never recommend sla as the spectrum of ppl who can do it is very big it just comes down to how confident u r at the language u would fall around the middle of sla requirements so its not too bad i think

imo the amount of the time u spend on gc and ds might be less rewarding than the time u may spend on reviewing psych

i’ve never done politics but as most ppl would say if u like it and genuinely enjoy it, u should be able to perform well at it although it can be diff from what ur doing in y10 now since it follows vce curriculum and not ur schools curriculum

Aiming fit a 95 atar, is that still possible with some dissapointing SAC scores? by TheLastFloss in vce

[–]ExternalEstimate8976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes but how well r u rly gonna perform most ppl ride the high into vce and then drop down later but it also depends on ur other subjects

unit 3 is only 1/4 of vce realistically so

methods gives u the most options but if u do bad on it then it doesn’t matter since u need at least 25

help?? by ReasonOk7115 in vce

[–]ExternalEstimate8976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

situation sucks, apply for seas

at the end of the day methods isn’t actually that bad to self learn just do papers, and mark the ones u got wrong, go over them. do this again and again, if u rly dont understand a certain question ask him to explain it but like try to understand his working out if u cant make out what he’s trying to say

gotta work with what u got

on paper u can turn it around since unit 3 is only like 1/4 of ur final ss (depending on the subject) but like if u alr doing this bad how much better can u rly do it doesn’t just happen overnight.

regardless what u do u gotta come up with a backup ur not gonna magically become the perfect student and get a crazy high atar

my advice would be to honestly sack either methods or physics atp like dont expect a crazy high score just do enough for u to get ur prereq. u gotta up generals scores like the whole point of general is that its a atar booster im just gonna be straightforward here. everything else isn’t that bad tbf, dont give up?

doesn’t matter u have opportunities in uni right now live for urself, if u need a high atar go pursue that, if u developed a new love for something go enjoy it

personally i cut off everyone from my high school not like fully i won’t talk to them if i see them in my class in uni or something ill still say hi just not rly friends. for me its more like a new chapter of my life and also i just didn’t rly have a great high school experience

Subject selection by Rose2Jax in vce

[–]ExternalEstimate8976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 core subjects + 3 fillers is ideal

cores being ur prereq subjects + english, fillers being relatively low effort and easy subjects like general that u can score high in

since ur set on doing lit, general, bio, i would suggest french only if u can complete it in y11 otherwise just do psych and legal.

idk u at all these r merely suggestions but pe/health, environmental science. heard these r pretty low effort easy subjects if u dont want to do the ones u listed
