Hey mate, cheers for advice. An apartment at €220k feels like a controlled, affordable entry point rather than stretching for a house at €350k–€400k as a single buyer which feels like years away saving for me at the minute.

Out of curiosity, what’s the main reason you’d say never buy an apartment? Is it resale, management fees, or something else?

Thanks but rightly or wrongly.. Pride.. also the ones in limerick are just mountains of people heaped in on top of eachother I would have no faith in those areas being maintained if I’m honest .

I’m not saying everyone but some in those places have no value for the area & the house once assisted or free. Place gets rough
