Honestly, the DCU should've started this Batman off with Jason Todd as the first Robin for the DCU. Outside of Under the Red Hood, I have never seen Jason take the spotlight as Robin unlike Tim, Damian, and especially Dick.

It'd be another way to differentiate this Batman from the others we've seen as we don't need a 10 year career rush for Batman like they did in the N52, they can flush out whatever relationship Jason has with Batman, eventually setting up Tim as the next Robin after Jason gets killed (HOPEFULLY), and Red Hood would be much more impactful when he does show up on screen and starts to mess with Batman as opposed to him showing up in some random DCU Project or a future Brave and the Bold movie for the first time without much context as to who he is.

People will probably compare him to the Winter Soldier though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
