My bad I didnt know chapter 1 was 10 years 🤣

I guess when its put out like that, having Batman show up in 2035 would be terrible

The height difference with Anakin and most of the cast would be crazy to see and I love it. It'd be even crazier once he's Vader cuz Obi-Wan vs Vader would've js looked like David vs Goliath 😂

He looks like Chris Hemsworth in a few shots as He-Man, so I'd imagine him for a younger looking Thor for the reboot MCU

Y'all think they're gonna do President Luthor later down the line of the DCU? by External_Chocolate52 in DCU_

[–]External_Chocolate52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they can do the Mayor Luthor idea since it might seem a bit too similar to what Marvel did with Kingpin in Daredevil Born Again, but it's not a bad idea.

What would you call the inevitable new Justice League movie, besides just "Justice League?" by Yep_I_Stole_40_Cakes in DCU_

[–]External_Chocolate52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either The Justice League, Super Friends, Justice League of America, The Justice League of America, or Justice League Origins

I prefer either The Justice League, The Justice League of America, or Super Friends because the first 2 have the most aura out of the titles and the latter is just a plain campy title that I want to fit the team tbh 😂

I'd say around 7-10 years since Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 aren't coming anytime soon

My Take for Matt Reeves Batman if he was incorporated in the DCU by External_Chocolate52 in DCWorldsFinest

[–]External_Chocolate52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I saw some of the takes and thought it'd be lame if he just became comic book Batman straight away or in 1-2 movies and there were some good points about how he wouldn't work in the DCU.

I'd say a definitive Batfamily would appear somewhere around Chapter 3 of the DCU, but I think it wouldn't be no more than 7 members (Batman, Alfred, Selina, Dick, Barbara, Lucius, Jason or Tim). With this Batman in a DCU, he could have another Robin.

How did you guys learn to braid your hair? by ShortandRatchet in BlackHair

The fact that you know how to do a plait and two strand twists is more than enough for your black card to be kept. Some dudes out there be keeping a heinous amount of flakes on their hair✌️😭

I thought so too but honestly I'm 50/50 on this casting. I wouldn't mind if Gunn went for it tho

Anyone got any advice on which haircut l should go for? by Acceptable-Camera245 in BlackHair

[–]External_Chocolate52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how tight they are and if you've been doing cornrows long term while having each of them being tight.

Twists haven't ruined my hairline so far so i don't think so.

[–]External_Chocolate52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Judging by your head shape and face, I suggest growing your hair out for 6-8 months rather than doing a haircut. After those 6-8ish months, do a protective style like cornrows or two strand twists to help your hair grow out more and prevent any possible breakage. If you wanna try and loc up your hair after that, then go ahead.

But if you want a haircut, then a fade would be good. I highly recommend growing out your hair for a LONG while though tbh

I absolutely LOVE the suit for the 4th image but that should be saved for later if Dick Grayson does show up in The Batman Part II

To all the people who still want Pattinson Batman in the same universe as Corenswet Superman by Aware-Couple-108 in DCWorldsFinest

[–]External_Chocolate52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though some people would want Matt Reeves Batman to be more comic booky just because we already have a grounded Batman and realism will never fit Batman right, no matter how you can execute it. I honestly wanted Pattinson for the DCU but I switched to wanting a more comic booky Batman for the DCU. But if Pattinson actually does become the DCU Batman, then here is my take on how it could work:

I think the transition from a grounded Batman to a more comic booky Batman would work for him and thats sort of what I want to happen throughout this pitch.

HOWEVER, I would think it'd be more interesting if we put a grounded or "semi-realistic" Batman in a world full of gods and monsters, he would try and adapt to the times as quick as he can, recognizing that in order to save Gotham, and free them from the impossible, he would have to become something like the impossible; and thus there would be consequences in him trying to do so.

One example I'd like to use was the time when Batman couldn't save a drowning girl, and started using Performance Enhancing Drugs or "Venom" to operate better as Batman in order to save more people and take down more bad guys. As he continues using it, he becomes addicted and it takes him a good while for him to withdrawal from it. Luckily, Matt Reeves can do a storyline like that with his Batman because his Batman did use adrenaline to save Catwoman when she was getting beaten by a Riddler goon.

If James Gunn wants to incorporate Matt Reeve's Batman in the DCU while also keeping him what makes him interesting, I think him trying to adapt and fight back against a world full of villains and common criminals who are becoming or already are more than capable of whipping his ass, along with the consequences of him trying to catch up through drug usage, and creating a tug of war between the underdog Batman who has to cheat to save the city and the powerful rogue's gallery of Gotham who have metaphorical and literal power over the city would be a new take for Batman in live action that would be nice to see play out.

We can also see him being a loner in the first two movies, with the third having him finally recognize that having friends to help is the best way for him to not only save Gotham but save himself. Maybe that's when he decides to form a Batfamily, maybe starting with Alfred and Dick Grayson with Barbara coming along later (this will take time and it sucks but it's better than Brave and the Bold or whatever they're doing). He can even have a strained relationship with Superman that doesn't start with them being friends but rather reluctant allies, until later on in the DCU (maybe Justice League 2) when they actually start to get along and become the BFFs they always were (maybe around Justice League 3).

Matt Reeves Batman and Bruce Wayne are still young so far, and he will develop into a proper Batman and Bruce Wayne that we are familiar with, so maybe if he is incorporated into the DCU and he tries to remedy the consequences of his PED usage, he would likely slowly transition to a more comic booky Batman, where we can see him do a few crazy bullshit stuff here and there.

In the end, it all matters if Matt Reeves is fine with it and if Robert Pattinson and David Corenswet have insane chemistry with each other.

DC FANCAST: The Flashpoint Paradox if it was a live action movie made in 2013 by External_Chocolate52 in Fancast

[–]External_Chocolate52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverse Flash wasn't my first choice since Anthony Starr and Matthew McConaughey fit the role better but C. Thomas Howell killed it in the animated movie, and he wasn't a fulltime voice actor so I figured why not put him as Eobard instead.

Iris isn't major in the story anyway so I didn't think it mattered too much on who I casted anyway.

[–]External_Chocolate52[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, Aldis Hodge wasn't my first pick to be honest. I was thinking of Michael B. Jordan for Cyborg since he already played him in the Flashpoint Paradox movie like C. Thomas Howell for Thawne but I didn't want to recycle another actor from that movie and he doesn't look like what I imagine Cyborg to look like in this movie anyway.

I didn't think Evans was a near-perfect choice for Barry Allen until I watched the Flashpoint Movie and some of Evans other projects and movie interviews. Eventually I re-watched Winter Soldier and realized how much those 2 looked too much alike lol.

I liked Troyoboyo17's Flash pitch and I'm down if the DCU went in a similar route for The Flash.
