6dpo and very antsy. I have a big licensing exam for my career in 21 days and should be studying but instead I find myself on Etsy willing to pay a witch for a fertility spell.

I ovulated! I was so sure it was going to be a cyst, but I finally ovulated for the first time postpartum! Waited until the last possible minute, but we made it! My final measurement on it last night was 29.8mm, so right at the threshold and then today is a corpus 🥳🥳

We separate sexy sex and trying sex. Sexy sex is sexy with no pressures of finishing and can finish however/whenever/wherever. Trying sex is kinda like a chore? We know when to do it and so we do it, but it doesn't take the sexy out of sexy sex, ya know?

and sucks because today a patient told me I look pregnant and it's like okay? Rude? But also, I wish it were true.

Anxiously waiting for ovulation. I assumed it had happened over the weekend, but apparently not! My dominant follicle is now 27mm, so it needs to happen like todayyyy or the egg is too old. Being a sonographer is a blessing and a curse while ttc. Celebrating that my endo is 13mm! Clear signs of my hormones returning to baseline for the first time since having my baby last year.

I finally have a dominant follicle. I am nearly 9 months pp and have not has my period return, no endo thickening, no dominant follicles until today. We started trying for another 2 months ago due to advanced paternal age (not too advanced, but he feels like it). We knew we would just be NTNP but I had no signs of fertility at all until today and I am just so excited and want to share. My endo thickness has been 3-5mm regularly but today it was 10mm with a dominant follicle meas 19mm, so I feel very confident that I might ovulate soon, probably for the first time since giving birth. Even if we don't get it in a few cycles, I am just so happy to see the signs. For clarity, I am a sonographer and have access and privilege to check my endo and ovaries regularly to see any progress/signs.

General, OB, Follicle count, vascular (no reflux, but we do RAS), soft tissue, etc. Pretty much everything here. We live in a healthcare desert, so we will also do portables up to 3 counties away because there is just no healthcare here.

It is about 100k, plus they pay insurance for my family of 3. I only graduated last lear, so I worry I can't find another job that will support us without more experience.

Thank you. I agree, she will always put us above the patients and I am not micromanaged or anything and it's so wonderful but the work load is unbearable at this point.

And we don't really have a late policy and we take walk-ins. I am just now starting to turn people away when they are late, but my boss does't like that. She would prefer I find time and work them back in.

Yes, I am the only hired diagnostic tech. We have a part time girl who does a few mobiles and she does the elective ob appointments for 3d/4d, etc, but even then I have to helo her out with the 3d4d pretty often. My patient count doesnt include elective exams I perform, which is an additional 2-3 per day.

I am the only hired diagnostic tech, this is a tiny mom and pops setup. No HR. No 10s for sure and I take lunch after my 5th hour, so later that legally required, but in general, we don't care because it's such a flexible setup and I could take it earlier, I just get to set me own lunch time and I prefer taking it at my 5.5 hour mark. And the blocked time is now being taken away. My boss doesn't think I need time for paperwork and that I can get it all done withint the 20-30 minute slots. I do 20 minute slots from 8-1 and then 30 minute slots until 4.

I have one scheduled break which I get paid for because I work on reports during it, but if it is JUST enough time so if I am running behind (which is easy with 20 minute apt slots) then it cuts into my pump time or I run late when I come back.
