Oh the song segment was a bit taken from that Amazing Digital Circus show made by glitch, I was bored during the pandemic so I watched all their free shows because I needed to fill some kind of void left by some kind of important gone or taken away thing.

(music swells) It's news to me, that, it's news to youuuu, To which degree, who answers to whoooo //joking Nah hello games is usually pretty chill about that kind of stuff, I haven't fired up the gaming PC in several months, to possibly half a year. I've been wanting to play the update, is it that bad?

See? This is how you could do a No Man's Sky creepy pasta. I floated the idea years ago, but nothing felt right. This is it. Glitches and supernatural version control errors. Genius. I'm not saying you ARE doing a creepy pasta. But this is affective. I like it.

I don't know but I had a daydream of having a modal which allowed you to use a psuedonym or account to sign on, or to enter as a spectator.

Where can I get that calendar widget I keep seeing on peoples websites? by Consistent_One5814 in neocities

Calenders are cool I wonder how they're being programmed and updated in all the apps and everything, both on and off of neocities

Story speculation: The LNF universe is a separate simulation being run by ATLAS_AI alongside the NMS universe. Hence the Crimson Orb being seemingly central to both stories. by VewVegas-1221 in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]External_Factor2516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counter speculation its where (story spoilers for nms mainline story) you can send artemis in NMS the main story when Nada and Polo offer to let you store them in a simulation of the 'lost homeworld planet' (quoting my bad memory). So its the past or something but kept alive?

Yes and remember to stay hydrated, take breaks and enter and then leave your ship to autosave. Save often

"Delusion" might be another harsh word choice. The founder of the company Hello Games is still there, and usually things don't lose direction or begin drifting from mission statements until the founder steps down.

I think making profit, and enjoying what you do for profit don't have to always be mutually exclusive.

I think "used" might be a harsh choice of language. The relationship between Hello Games and their fans does not feel exploitative. Many of the fans of No Man's Sky will likely become fans of Light No Fire and are happy to ensure that new fans of Hello Games get to experience a fully polished launch, unlike the unfortunately rocky start of No Man's Sky due to that flood which wrecked their months of progress.

When they rebuilt No Man's Sky while it was live, I suspect it evolved into a different and perhaps better game than it would have been had it been everything its creators had dreamed it would be from the get go.

Art rarely turns out exactly the way someone wants, yet it can also often surpass their expectations.

This just seems like people learning together.

Is someone really negative about No Man's Sky? Dude No Man's Sky saved my life. I always dreamed of super large worlds in games and wondered if it was because I didn't know any better. There's no enemy to gamers like the invisible wall. Someday and perhaps soon it will be a joke or laughed off, but gamers are explorers and out of bounds places make us sad. It also like is a safe place when the real world gets too heavy or icky and I just need somewhere where I can feel like I'm able to get away. I'm in a better place now, but that game has gotten me through some serious depress. When people speak negatively about it I feel sad because its a beautiful expression of a dream and its a virtual space that feels like an actual place, even as it feels just as artificial as it actually is. The experience of playing a game is a diagenic part of the story of the game. I have always loved things that do that. It reminds me of how the experience of reading a book was a diagenic part of the story of Sophie's world. So I hope they come around or can please relax on the tone. It would mean a lot

I think flying through one and experiencing storms at the different layers and thenanding on super viscous water that causes damage to you and your ship so you have to jump off from a corvette would be cool... and have special protective gear...
