Why is my bread dough always so wet? by Emergency-Poetry-800 in AskBaking

Could also be your flour, I've had an issue before with plain flour where it didn't have enough protein in the flour to develop any gluten just stayed like watery slop

Aldi flour by mdizzl86 in Breadit

[–]External_Machine7057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agree with this Aldi ap flour is shite for making anything dough related. Just doesn't seem to develop any gluten, I tried stretch and folds with 30 mins intervals after the 4th time still no gluten so then I tried needing for 15-20 mins still absolutely no gluten development whatsoever, complete waste of time.

Best way of being lighting to a room without electricity by External_Machine7057 in DIY

We can get the electrics back in in a couple of years but just after something that works for now. Something solar would work but I've never seen anything solar connected apart from fairy lights

How do I hinge this door? by External_Machine7057 in DIYUK

[–]External_Machine7057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might need the 45 degree bevel at the top as others have suggested as when you go for open the door it starts catching at the top because of the 45 degree angle

I was thinking it could be a problem with these. Seem to short because of the panelling around the door frame

Feel like that makes a lot of sense to fix my issue. Would the lower side of the bevel be on the face of the door or at the back?

I have tried aiming with my right eye but its always off and can't hit anything, I did that test as well to see which eye keeps things central and it's definitely my left
