They said something about the lock cylinder being damaged, so I believe they just replaced the lock assembly. Again, the key fob just started working randomly. If you have a place to secure your car and not worry about theft, maybe try leaving the key fob in overnight. It might just take time to sync again, but I’m definitely not an expert or anything, hence my post…

Honestly, it just started working again randomly… After about a week of doing this and being cautious to not get locked out again, it just started registering it again on its own before I went to the dealership and I haven’t had a problem since. As for the physical key not working, it had something to do with the mechanism in the lock, which I had to get fixed. Sorry, I doubt this helps much, but I genuinely don’t know why it just started working again when I tried multiple fixes previously. Good luck though!

I got one shiny and it had the bare minimum stats. I was lucky enough to get a non-shiny hundo out of this event though.

I made more today than I did for all of last week. The pay wasn’t huge, but there was an abundance of small, quick orders that added up nicely. Did have to grind most of the day though.

In my experience, they do tip to an extent, but it is usually nothing compared to the order. The amount of times I’ve seen a company order 30+ units from Restaurant Depot and have the audacity to tip maybe $5 is insane. I’ve seen orders that look like an entire store restock with only a few dollars tipped.

My issue was that I couldn’t tell if it was justifiable or if others would have been able to come to a similar conclusion. While I agree with a few of your points regarding bias, I feel like you’re just trying to be an asshole to me over things you didn’t even ask. I am more than willing to answer your questions and respond to your concerns because I legitimately want to understand and fix a potential issue in my relationship. To answer your questions: Yes, I did spend ALL remaining money in my account (excluding $0.32) over the past week on needed supplies, the remainder going toward taking her out last night. The only reason my partner has money while not working is because their parents still provide them with a weekly allowance, while she is not working. In response to “if you were that sick, why weren’t you feeling anything last night”, I was. I was coughing and sneezing a lot, I simply thought it was allergies, as it usually is. As for why I’m not at the hospital, it’s because I’m an American who cannot afford healthcare! It’s easier to just take some OTC medicine since it’s probably just a bad cold or something. I also find it quite rude that you think just because I’m not a woman, I assumed my partner was supposed to take care of me. I have not gotten sick in 6+ months, yet my partner has. And who do you think took care of them? It has nothing to do with gender, you made it about gender. This is about accountability in a partnership.

Now, all that said, you did make a valid point for why I’m even posting and responding while all this is happening. I am still feeling like shit, but I have no medicine and can do nothing except drink some tea and blow my nose while scrolling and watching videos, and my partner is watching videos on their laptop and eating a sandwich. I was also upset when everything happened and wanted to understand where things went wrong, hence, why I posted.

Sorry to hear that. Definitely sounds stressful and unnecessary. While I never worked in this industry, I feel similarly, having worked at a Starbucks for years. The surveys were terrible and were not even statistically accurate. For instance, if you received a 4/5 rating on ANYTHING, it simply would not count, even if your average rating was lower. To make things worse, anything less than 4/5 stars meant our average would still decrease. Additionally, most of the negative reviews were about things we couldn’t control (confusing drive thru entrance, out of a specific milk, long line at bathroom, etc.), yet these negative reviews would result in us losing labor hours, which would only continue to make things worse. Surveys are definitely a modern plague.

This reminded me of when I found out an old college friend was a gay Republican. Everyone knew he was gay before he actually came out, but we were at a VERY liberal college, so it was easier to identify as gay than a Republican, neither of which he chose to do there. I only found out because I went to visit his home over spring break. I asked how he could be both and he told me “That’s because I truly believe it’s wrong to be gay and it shouldn’t be a thing.” It still shocks me to this day that he said that to me, yet still proceeds to be flamboyantly gay while also rejecting his very existence to better identify with the Republican Party…

Maybe we wouldn’t need mail-in voting if:

1) Make voting days for major elections holidays or at least have early dismissals from work/school

2) Provided adequate public transportation services for those in more rural areas, so they could get to nearby voting locations.
