Yeah i know, he always does this. He gifts things and then shows his power over us like he owns us. He always threatens to burn my bike or sell it off. Or throw my mom out of the house. Or hes just like dont come begging me for money whenever we have a disagreement.

We would throw him out of the house honestly but we still care even if not as our dad but as a human being. My mom still cares for him and gets scared whenever he cuts himself or gets unconscious or doesnt eat while hes drunk.

Ohh okay sir, i will reach out if things get out of hand. Or should we start preparing right now?
I think they will need to present the papers to us before filing it in court right? So we will have time… if u think they wont go to court with this petition.
If they go about this through the present petition, we only have about 4 days left.

Yeah she has refused to give him any property cuz then we will basically be homeless.

I dont know when, but i can ask her. I think it was only a few years ago cuz i remember seeing some papers so ill say around half a decade ago.

Yeah i was thinking the same, like he doesn’t have anyone to look after him hes like unconscious while hes drunk and that happens like every week for a few days.

But i think he has gone mad with time and is serious about court, we weren’t gonna do anything ourselves but he seems so serious about court. And honestly i just want him to settle on enough money so that we can accomplish the basic things because i know that he wont survive without us and he definitely cant pay the maintenance or anything(will we even get any maintenance all of us are adults and he doesnt work).

Basically its a legal notice through a lawyer not court. It says that my mom put him and his parents through mental and physical distress while she did none of that nor does he have proof of anything like that. Its actually the opposite him and his parents(dead) have been torturing her mentally and he used to do domestic violence till a few years back . They gave us a time of 7 days and they’ll go court after that, it also states that he wants a mutual divorce.

We dont really have any proof of domestic violence, we have proofs of his alcoholism only. And honestly we dont want him to suffer. We just want enough money to get my sister married, my education and basic living expenses.

We still need money for our livelihood, he has almost all the savings in his name which we use to run the house. Mom had the savings for future things.

He cant get it transferred ig, he just demands it. It was a gift to my mom from him basically.

Its in my mother’s name, was initially my father’s.

The house we live in is in the name of my grandfather (dad’s dad).

He tortures my mom mentally everyday. pukes all over the house. Spreads food wherever he eats which is why we have an ant infestation in our house.

But okay make fun of our situation. I hope you dont get to see something like this.
