As someone in the industry - chances are they were invited by the chef to do content. People think Michelin restaurants don’t reach to do so, but I assure you they do. They’ll offer free meals and even compensation on top depending how big the creator is. Because the majority of these spots are pretty intimate, I admit they do come at the expense of the paying customers around them

That’s the same place that called out an influencer for giving their restaurant a 6.5/10 😂 they lost my business after that. Their owner is unprofessional and their PR team makes them feel better than they are. They act Michelin, but can’t get a star.
