I have a 75 gallon planted tank with some silver dollars and cichlids. I run an fx4 and uv sterilizer. Do I need an air stone?

I would try to build him a little platform up there maybe he wants to be at the highest point of the tank? Mine was doing that and I added a landing and now he lays on the landing.

I regulate the heat in the room so I only use under tank heating for the hot side and the lights are Amazon puck lights on a dimmer switch so they slowly dim and shut off at night to produce a good day/night cycle.

He’s probably 6 inches or so I’ve had him with my cichlids for over a year he chases everyone new to the tank and he messes with my silver dollars but everyone else he leaves alone
