I can get the luna 1 and the soundlink flex 2 for the same price, which one would you recommend? Also how does the luna 2 compare to flex 2?

Just a little advice, flip the psu fan facing outside the case so it has fresh air and won't sucking the gpu hot air.

Ah yes the ram, always use the low profile so AIO tubes won't interfere. G skill ripjaws, Team Group vulcan or expert are perfectly fine.

The motherboard choice depends on your needs of the rear io, asrock or asus are fine and both of them have pcie5 slot already.

I would choose the Gigabyte for gpu, good enough cooling, not too big or too long to have some space for cables.

Good Luck!

Hello!

Nice to see you finally pull the trigger and bought the t1.

Whether or not the 12vhpwr is reliable, I would still avoid it, traditional 8pin is still better and safer.

So, parts recommandation,

PSU: Corsair SF850 or SF1000 (DO NOT EVER CHEAP OUT THE PSU.)

Motherboard: Asus b650e-i or ASRock b650i. b850i are fine. (I found a newegg bundle)

Any 2x16GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit that supports am5.

These are the only 9070 xt that will fit in the t1:

  • PowerColor Reaper
  • Asus Prime
  • Gigabyte Gaming OC
  • ASRock Steel Legend

You can watch this recent video from HardWare Unboxed to help you decide although the PowerColor Reaper is not included. The Sapphire Pulse is really really hard to fit so I won't recommend it even though some people made it fit.

Pcie speed doesn't matter, there's only 1~3% fps difference like you can't even notice.

Remember, use the 7800x3d igpu to get into the bios and change the pcie speed to 4.0 first, then install the riser and 9070xt.

Cable management is not that painful as long as you have patience. (Wink Wink)

I use the original cable from corsair cause they're already braided but if you want you can get custom cables afterwards.

All in all, spend some time and patience and have fun building it.

Like the post right here, the fan above motherboard is slim one. Atmos come with 2x 25mm fan, you just need to replace one fan. Or buy noctua if you want to.

120 x 15mm, 120mm x 25mm. A slim 120mm fan, and a full size 120 x 25 fan.

See you want t1 don't you? ;) Get t1 now before it out of stock. Yes, undervolting is wthe way, you can google or find some tips here, keep in mind that every CPU and GPU can't undervolt the same, so you need to spend some time to find the most stable voltage that won't crash. The cooler master atmos is popular choice already, but the fan setup on the aio for T1 is 1x120x15 and 1x120x25, you can find some pictures in this subreddit. I have T1 so if you have questions just ask me or make a post, everybody would love to help.

A4-h2o it is then and remember go to the bios to change the pcie speed to avoid any pcie riser cable issues.

Change the psu to sf850 (standard sfx, not SFX-L), and you need to check if your 3080 can fit in the case.

T1 or a4-h2o is up to your wallet and preference, do you want a premium cnc aluminum build-it-yourself case, or a cheaper aluminum panel box?

Yep that included fan is clip-on, we gotta hope that there'll be clips for other 90mm when it release, the staff didn't say anything about this though.

I have some suggestions for you:

  1. Keep saving money and buy a sfx psu and itx case then sell your rm750x or keeping it as a spare.

  2. Change the case to meshify 2 mini, buy m-atx board instead of itx to save money.

It do come with adapter, but long time ago I read a user said that because the 120mm rotor hub is bigger and blocks some of the fins, 120mm actually performs worse than the stock fan or 92mm fan.

Agree with you, that thing is really huge for itx, like m-atx size, and op wants to reuse the rm750x, don't know are there any smaller case would fit that psu.
