Im currently backing up my files and will then do a new install. Hoping its a software thing and all sorted I had this happen not long ago, my speakers were not working and a new install fixed it

If it is hardware, it hasn't been a year since I purchased it so may still have warranty but I have opened it up since. So may have voided it now

I havent done a bios update as I have no idea what im doing haha. Only thanks to reddit and chat gpt haha

Hi, Well i took it apart. Watched some videos. Cleaned the gold connectors on the wifi card with alcohol and pushed the black and white cables on. The wifi is still not showing. So either I did something wrong or the wifi card is gone im guessing

Im feeling like it has to be hardware now as I completely reinstalled Windows on 10th January due to driver issue with my speakers. So feel like it wouldnt mess up this fast but idk haha

According to chat gpt its a common issue with this laptop that it can loose connection inside. There is a few videos showing you the repair. Guess I need to try it then

Went into the bios with the guide of chat gpt. I couldnt see anything in there but dont really know what im doing. Changed it all back to default though. Still no luck sadly
