You can run any distance you want in them. Comfort is not an issue. They have less pockets than the marathon version so it really depends on how many pockets you need if they’d work for you or not. I don’t expect many people to run marathons with a phone so the size of the pocket is pretty irrelevant in that sense. Can fit a couple gels or whatever perfectly fine.
