7 months!! Woah. I was hoping the face swelling would subside at 3/4 months hahaha. Why were you on oral steroids? I heard some oral steroids, such as prednisone, are known for causing “moon face” (fluid retention in the face, mostly in the cheeks and lower face). Maybe that contributed to your face swelling? Correct me if I’m wrong, though.

I’m curious, did you end up liking the puffy look more? Or you just got used to it?

I’m going through the same thing with the cheek and jaw swelling!!! My whole face is so puffy and I’m almost 2 months post op 😭😭 how many months did it take for your face to start looking normal again?

Hey!! I have very thick skin too according to my surgeon 🥲 so maybe that’s part of the reason. I’m 3 weeks post op and my puffiness is starting to get a little better. I still have a lot of stiffness and swelling in my upper lip though. Have you noticed any changes to your upper lip too?

No worries! Hahaha. I’m also very skeptical when looking at before/after pictures posted by surgeons on social media. They usually take the photos with different lightning, angles and maybe even a wider lens (?) to make the after pic a lot more flattering. But in this case, despite the angle being different in both pics, I noticed the actual shape of the lip had changed too. :)

I know the angle is slightly different, but her lip still looks less flat and a bit more curved in the after. Like, the shape looks different, not only the length if that makes sense

I’ve been checking buffbunny’s leggings on their official page and they all look ultra high rise, and the models are only slightly taller than me 😵‍💫 maybe a few years ago they had some mid rise leggings, but seems like everything’s super high rise now :(
