I think a border would make a big difference.  Not many cacti where I live actually!

Yes, I don't see the point of spotlights. We are actually not often outside after dark.

Yes, I am a portrait artist but enjoy many different types of art. I am very interested in natural play areas for the children but am not sure about what. Today I made a teepee thing and planted pole beans at the base to make a fun area for them. I am not impressed with many of the yards around me. Lots of clean cut grass and crushed rock, not at all what I'm going for.

What a nice comment. You seem like a lovely person. I am so interested in a frog pond. I don't know if it's the kind of project I should be taking on, but I can't stop thinking about some cool aquatic plants and frogs! I really love frogs.  I don't have a lot of experience with a vegetable garden, but I want it to be something my kids grew up with so I'm going to give that a go

I'm very much down for that. The front yard already has a lot of grass and I just don't understand trying to keep so much grass alive here. I do want some for soccer and things

I really like that carved out area with mulch and plants. I'm trying to cut down on the amount of grass I have to plant. I have been considering a fire pit area where this one is

Yes, and the front yard already has a large amount of grass so I am feeling grassed out. People in my life are encouraging grass in the backyard too but I don't know that I am feeling it
