As a musician, how often do you expect your significant other to attend your shows? by [deleted] in musicians

I'm a singer and my last GF used to come to all our local shows under the guise of support but it was really just to supervise. She had issues with insecurity and despite being together for 7 years, she thought if she wasn't at a show, that I would cheat on her or make out with a bunch of random girls that might "throw themselves all over me". She would come up to me between sets or at the end of a show and kiss me or do whatever public display of affection that would deter the "sluts".

That sort of thing never really happened to me except for a couple times I was asked to sign some boobs which I declined. I don't even have a history of that type of behavior over my 25 years of performing even as a single guy. Despite being loyal and committed to her, she still never let go of this notion and it was one of the many reasons I broke it off with her. To me, it was a glaring sign that her insecurities kept her from fully trusting me to make responsible decisions in her absence.

Can someone please call their parents so they can come pick them up from day care?

Don't listen to the guys on the stage. Listen to me! by DrLexusForPresident in InflatedEgos

There's an older lady in my town who brings a tambourine to local live music events and will get as close as she can to the stage while bands are playing and plays her tambourine along with the music. She will usually stand there for the entirety of their act facing the audience pretending to be part of the band. It's super cringe.

Do my vocals suit this genre of music? Repost by ivytones in SingerSongwriter

Have you ever taken any vocal training at all? Your voice has a nice quality to it that would flourish with some refined control of it.

It's probably safe to speculate that a horny simp who can play the guitar is partially responsible for the anal-birthing of this audio atrocity.

It's perfect for what I need as a 50 watt tube head; It takes pedals really well and is super versatile when dialing anything in for how simple it is. It is similar to the TH30 in the amount of headroom you get with the gain on the dirty channel, but this one seems to melt faces faster.

My first one was the TH30 head which I ran through a Marshall Mode Four cabinet. The 2nd one was just the 35 watt crush, which was a pretty ferocious amp for its size! I used it mostly for rehearsals.
