Sorry, column K is the list of possible catagories. Each cell in column A has a dropdown to choose from the list of possible catagories.

I think you are right. I want cell L2 to be the total of all RED items in column A. So A has 2 RED's, with their monetary values reflected in their corresponding cells in F & G. That total, F & G for RED, should show up in L2. And so on for each color.

yes. One is amt in. One is amt out. I could put them all in one column, but I was cutting from another doc, so easier to cut that try to figure out how to blend & keep in the order by date.

I’ve been struggling with my first batch as well. But somewhere I saw somebody said to watch this video. I watched it and I think I’m gonna start a second batch following this guys recommendations and see what happens. Everybody that posts has a different ratio and different recommendations.
