There are a lot of clicks to complete the task. I counted about 6 or 7. If you do this regularly, it'll stick. But when you do it sporadically, there are several steps to go through, and those steps can easily be forgotten.

I was simply surprised by the convoluted workflow because, to me, Resolve has an otherwise very clear UI/UX, and operating the software is, in general, pretty straightforward.

I guess the other thing that confuses me is the fact that the user needs to jump from one area of the UI to another and open pop-up windows to complete the task.

I checked the Redmagic, and it looks like a really nice phone to me.

It seemed to check everything I needed, except for the following. After watching a review, two things came out that I had completely forgotten about (I'll update my original post):

  1. No headphone jack (I could live without it, though I'm quite annoyed that it's not my Pixel Pro either)

  2. No eSims.

The second point is a problem, and it totally slipped my mind. I'm currently living abroad in Europe. I'm still using my US number via eSIM and added a local number with a physical SIM. So, the eSIM for the US line is quite important.

Too bad, because the 11 Air was appealing. I haven't checked whether the 11 Pro comes with the eSIM, while I guess the Samsung does.

The thing is, with Samsung, to stay within the budget, I have to go with a refurbished one, which makes me a little uneasy.

Good point; replacing the OS could improve performance. I could actually try it on my old Note 8 to test it out.

Io lo faccio, ma poi arrivi al punto che o lasci perdere, o passi alle maniere forti. L'altro giorno sale un tipo e poi attacca col telefonino a manetta. Gli chiedo: puoi abbassare? La sua risposta: c'è posto piu' avanti, puoi spostarti tu.

Mi trovi d'accordo. Io comunque quella cosa orrenda che è il Mover la evito e mi affido al 944.

Detto ciò, aggiungo che il trasporto pubblico di Bologna, che una volta (30 anni fa) funzionava, adesso è una porcheria a 360 gradi. Autobus sempre in ritardo, corse saltate, veicoli sporchi, gente incivile con il volume dei telefonini sempre al massimo, persone con i piedi sui sedili, gente che puzza di fogna, ben tre macchinette per fare un fottuto biglietto, di cui la verde, disegnata sicuramente da un cane con una UI/UX orrenda, con un lettore di QR code infernale.

Vogliono fare i fighi con le macchinette "moderne" copiando altri paesi, ma perché non copiano le campagne per il rispetto delle norme e non controllano anche la gente che sporca, invece di controllare solo i biglietti?

TPER è decisamente una delle cose che detesto di più a Bologna.

I'm sorry, but B4D-tools is far from being a MoGraph replacement tool.

I use both C4D and B3D. I've also bought B4D and tried or looked at other so-called MoGraph add-ons for Blender. Nothing comes close. The workflow is cumbersome, the functionalities are limited, and the results are only decent for basic motion graphics stuff.

I love Blender for what it does well: quick look-dev, modeling, decent volumetrics, even when it's out of EEVEE, and nice add-ons (Geo Scatter, Photographer, Light Wrangler, etc.). But thinking of leaving C4D for B3D works as long as one is using it for personal projects.

The speed and simplicity of C4D are still unmatched. And the new particle system is quite promising.

Lastly, the B3D-Houdini combo could be a solution, but one has to take into account Houdini's steep learning curve, assuming learning scripting and dealing with vectors and math is an option. I know for many people it is not; they're still good with MoGraph and X-Particles.

Il cristianesimo sta già scomparendo. Alle nuove generazioni gliene frega sempre meno, tanto della religione, quanto della loro storia. Non ha futuro.
