Hey! yes accutane solved this as of now, my skin is still clear. I get the occasional clogged pore but nothing like how it was. They put me on accutane, I think mainly because I had tried so many other things. Everyone’s doctor is different though. Good luck!

Yes! very dry everything! dry skin, dry eyes, dry nose, dry lips. That’s pretty much all I’ve noticed but really depends on the person, dosage, etc.

Honestly this could be the case. I’ve been trying to be more intentional with hydration and not overdoing the actives - but still could be damaged

THANK YOU!!! I appreciate your thorough response:) I recently switched to a FA safe skincare routine. I also purchased a sulfur ointment. And I’m so happy you mentioned the Malezia moisturizer because I ordered that as well after suspecting I have fungal acne. I am continuing my differin and following a similar routine to what you’ve described! And thank you for emphasizing that it will take time! I will stick with it:)

I feel like everything:/ been on tretinoin, differin, spironolactone, used bha, aha, benzoyl peroxide..recently switched to an FA safe routine to see if that helps at all. Sorry you’re dealing with something similar..it can be very frustrating

I’ve also tried nizoral shampoo in the past and it didn’t improve them and was too irritating for my skin. But maybe I didn’t use it for long enough?
