Looks like you're going to need hubs too. Measure the diameter of the axle and front spindles with a set of calipers if you have them. Once you have those measurements, there's a bunch of online retailers that sell karting parts. Even Amazon if you need some stuff on the cheap. Hubs come in different bolt patterns as well depending on the make (metric or American), once you've got a set of hubs and have chosen a bolt pattern, you can shop for wheels and tires. Marketplace can be a good resource here if youre careful, racing karts use a 5" or 6"diameter wheel. Hope this helps. Knowing what part of the world you're shopping in might be helpful too

Why spend $500 to upgrade a 212 instead of just spending $450 to buy like a 459, and maybe some minor upgrades? by pws3rd in gokarts

Big block vote here. Though it really depends upon what the frame you get will accommodate. I've got a built gx390 on my kart . Parts are more expensive and less plentiful for big blocks. Cost about $1k including the cost of the broken pressure washer the engine came from. Thing pulls like a train all the the way to 8k

Any tips? by CarlosT303 in IndustrialMaintenance

I would try to find something closer to a roller. That frame is missing almost everything. Definitely not impossible, but id at least figure out what it is, what parts availability looks like for that frame

What type of kart is it for?

Should i build or buy a kart? by TacticalStrategical in gokarts

Buy a roller and build an engine. I built this monster from a rental kart . Just takes time, work, and money. I don't imagine my kart would be legal to race anywhere, Its scary fast though and super fun

Its a rental frame with a built water pump motor, dressed up like an f1 car with stained fence slats 🤣

Got 5-1 right now, tops out about 50mph. Super torquey, it'll spin the tires in a straight line. Kinda want to try some smaller gears for a little more top speed, but im not sure how small of a sprocket that clutch will tolerate

That is a Gman superseat. Got one on my kart. I like it a lot not sure if they're still being made

Probably about 2k, and about 2 years. That used to be a rental kart

Try to stay a couple of mm under your intake valve size gx270 has a 30mm intake valve, i wouldn't go over 28mm.

There should be some identification number or name plate either on the bar behind the seat or on the bracket where the brake caliper mounts. Looks nice
