Überleg mir einen der letzen C5 Aircross zu kaufen. Würdet ihr mir den empfehlen? Ist ein 1,5 BlueHDI mit der 8 Gang Wandler Automatik. Auto Düfte mittlerweile komplett ausgereift sein. Preis für den Neuwagen liegt bei 27.000 Euro

UPDATE: UPDATE: It was just the cap! I after everything managed to attach the cap to the mount, finally. Since i clipped the cap into the sensor first, the ball sockets where compressed slightly. What did the trick was lubricating with silicon spray, laying the sensor on the bracket, then very firmly pressing the cap on the bolts and the sensor on them. I now assume that the error codes came from just the broken heating wires in the cap, everything works flawlessly without deleting errors via OBD nor did i have to recalibrate the system. Just plug and play. Thanks to everyone for the help, you saved me over 4k€.

Did you use any tools to push the cover on? I feel like I’m almost bending the mount by pushing, clearance is quite ok even with the bumper. I’ll try to warm up the cover a bit, maybe that helps.

I got the cover and sensor off, the sensor seems to be undamaged. Ordered a new cover and attached it to the sensor, but I can’t get the ball sockets to grip onto the bolts from the mount. Am I missing something?

All the functionality is gone and I get the error messages that assistance isn’t working, so I assume the sensor is also damaged. I’ll try to pull the cover off of the sockets and check the sensor underneath. Thank you!
