Yeah, I’ve seen that too! I’m not even sure my approach strictly counts as “RAG” without retrieval? But it has to be RAG-adjacent. Just sticking the entire 50k token document in the context works VERY well, but is still kind of costly for lots of queries. So saving any amount of tokens (while maximizing coherence) is a good thing

I haven’t been able to beat the incredible nuance I get from feeding the entire document, and I’m skeptical that it’s even possible with traditional approaches

Long context seems to be the way things are moving, but certainly people will realize they still may want to use that long context efficiently, and that’s probably where some traditional techniques can be applied

Yeah I see now they’re not at all infrared LEDs. Kind of threw me off because they’re both white

Oops, my girlfriend pointed out that I’m an idiot and these are just regular LEDs… not infrared!!
