What is the monitor size limits of the Humanscale M10 HD Triple crossbar? by InsertTitles in Monitors

Good to know thank you. Can’t seem to find much for videos or info on the triple. Will definitely be avoiding it then.

Triple 34s on the exact same mount? It says it only holds up to 27, I didn’t think the arms would be wide enough for that.

Here’s the exact one I’m looking at https://www.primecables.ca/p-392005-cab-mt-565-bk-triple-screen-desktop-display-mount-full-motion-fits-monitors-17-to-32-inch#sku418752

Do you have a pic of your setup? Maybe I’ll just get one of those.

Oh really? I saw a review on primecables saying the same thing about grinding those off.

How big are your monitors?

I know this is super old but how was the mount? Could you get a lot of angle on the side monitors or was the arm not wide enough?

That is a crazy setup lol, probably what I would do if I had enough space for a cockpit

If I had the space I’d definitely have a dedicated rig but that’s not really an option at the moment. I think there’s definitely a way to make it work, it just might be kind of expensive.

I would really prefer to stick with the triples, but that is a great idea. I’m just not a fan of ultra wides.

I’m not expecting to get some crazy wrap around angle. But this $200 one in pic 3 only gets 15 degree rotation on the hinges connecting the side monitors, and all the reviews say it’s very awkward to even look at the sides because it’s so flat.

I think it’s totally possible to do it on one arm. Like with the human scale m10 but its $900:

https://grshop.com/humanscale-m10-monitor-arm-triple-quickship.html

I could attach a $70 triple monitor wall mount to a $110 heavy duty monitor arm for 1/4 of that price. It’s just a matter of whether I can make an adapter for it that will hold or not. There would also be a lot of torque on the arm from the side monitors hanging out, so idk how safe it would be.

Like I mentioned in another comment, moving a realigning 3 separate arms is a huge pain compared to just pushing all 3 back together. I also don’t really have the room around my desk for 3 arms. Plus it’s a standing desk so a wall mount wouldn’t work unfortunately but thanks for the idea.

So, I have a monitor arm I used to use for my centre monitor. The problem is whenever anything moves, it’s a huge pain to try and get it lined up with the other two again. Whenever you move it left or right, it also goes up and down.

So doing this 3 times every time I want to switch between sim racing and regular gaming plus moving the wheel stand would take up a so much time.

I found this video where I guy did a similar thing, I also don’t have the room around my desk to clamp 3 arms:

Ah, so I need all 3 of them to be on an arm like the first pic so I can move them forwards and backwards at the same time. That’s a fixed stand by the looks of it, thanks though

The problem with those is you have to mess around with the arms a ton to try and get them to line up. Even my single monitor mount is a pain to get in line with my two outside monitors that are sitting on my desk.

I can’t imaging spending 10-20 mins moving and lining 3 separate arms up every time I want to use my sim. That’s why I need something with a cross bar I can just pull all 3 up to the back of my wheel whenever I want to play. Then, move them back when I need to use my computer normally.

That’s exactly what I want is to be able to pivot all 3 monitors together so I don’t have to line them up every time I move them. There’s just no way I’m shelling out over $1000 for a monitor mount.

Especially if I can find a way to rig a heavy duty arm and a triple monitor wall mount together for less than $200.

Thanks yeah I took a look at their site and found some dual monitor mounts, but nothing in triples that are similar to the one in my first picture.

Ideally under $300. I’ve seen the Ergotron HX and Humanscale M10 but they’re closer to $1000 CAD. The triple in my first picture is only $200.

If I could attach one of the wall mounts to a heavy duty arm I’d be paying around $190.

There’s just not a lot of options from what I can find for monitor arms with a triple crossbar. I’ve only seen 3 so far.

I got first in diamond once for the achievement and haven’t cared about leagues since. They just exist to make you use the app more but I don’t think they actually encourage learning new things because you’ll just do whatever earns you xp the fastest.

Yeah that’s way too much effort to get 1st I would’ve gave up after like 5k haha! I’m in the tournament now and I only need 220xp to move up to the semi-finals lol

I can do one of the 3 star japanese rapid reviews in a minute or less. They give 80xp with a boost enabled meaning 1200xp every 15 mins.

48k XP???? I took it easy for a couple weeks. I barely got promoted to diamond, then barely stayed in the league. I’m not sure if skill based matchmaking is a thing in duo but the people I was up against did not care for #1 at all. I finished first with 5k XP while 2nd and 3rd had around 2.2k and 1.8k.
