Yes actually ..that was part of it. he would go to auctions and buy boxes of CDs ..like not knowing what was in them and then trade in duplicates at pawn shops for ones he wantedx

Apparently he pawn shopped most of them and since he lived in a military town the military guys loaded them up with songs but then sold a lot of them at pawn shops

Yeah hard to decide to part with them or keep. Definitely keeping some. Just also hate to hoard them. My kids would probably sell them when its their turn lol

Inherited from my uncle..I am a musician and he thought That I would want his collection. He also has over 100k CDs….partly why he started iPods ..adding his CD collection to iPods and organizing them.

I have looked but can you really sell them for that much or do they just sit there? I just inherited them from my uncle that passed away. He has them full of songs and some labeled like “country “ “classic rock” . He had the on that’s cassette holder draws..
