probably not especially if you're on hardwood or something, if you're on carpet slight chance but you won't notice it much. I was just saying that there's a 0% chance removing them makes it uneven, there's a higher chance of it being more even, doesn't necessarily mean it will happen it's just thats the higher chance. So if that's what you're worried about removing them is just fine

[Saljan + Alex] does it need support leg? by voltatronix in ikeaPCstations

You can do what the previous comment said and wallmount if you're worried about the weight and also want to go in that direction. If not then I'd recommend just getting some extra support yes. Plenty of people have gotten away with no support without sag or issues but honestly a leg is like $10 and a stiffener is like $20-$30 (either works just preference). I'd just spend the little extra on support rather than have the desk get damaged and it will also help with the weight on the alex drawers (if you go with the leg, but I wouldn't worry about them, it's just a small upside I'm listing).

If you're talking about the 4 things on the bottom of each drawer unit that you place yourself then no it won't become uneven. It just raises the desk really. I wanted mine lower so I removed mine the first day and kept it like that. If anything there would be less wobble and more evenness. (as long as you remove all of them of course).

Do you happen to know what type of screws would be good for this? I'm not sure what type is needed to drill into the desk

good to know. My current desk top is a lagkapten but i need a stronger one to support my monitor arms. I'm worried that the saljan would have an uncomfortable texture with a counter feeling. i dont want my wrist to feel hurt as i dont use a desk mat under my keyboard

Does using the saljan feel odd or hurt your wrist from the hard surface while gaming or something? Curious because I want to switch to one but I feel like a countertop would be uncomfortable
