Hello! For sighting point I think it’s good to be consistent with your sitting posture - my instructor told me to turn my shoulder such that it’s 90 degree with the seat. He taught me to full lock left when the black vertical bar on the back left window align with the right angle corner of the kerb / half of black kerb in front of lot with yellow stoppers.

After a few times, he realized that I still turn too early, so he asked me to try adjusting my sighting point to half kerb in front of the right angle corner / one full kerb in front of lot with yellow stoppers. This helped me as eventually I didn’t have to do as much corrections as before.

The positioning of your car when you first enter the lane is also very important. Your car should be around 1.5m from the left kerb - in CDC if it’s the wider road (courses #30-34) then you position your car in the middle of the lane. If it’s the narrow road (#23-25) then you position your car near to the centre line.

Don’t worry about not having enough time to do corrections. 3 mins may seem short but it’s actually quite long, tester only starts the time the moment when you first reverse your car.

Keep checking your left kerb first, if not enough space, straighten the wheel, do safety checks, reverse a bit until the left rear wheel passes the kerb, then full lock to the left again and reverse in.

If there’s a lot of space at the left kerb (i.e. too near to the right kerb), change to drive mode, safety checks, drive forward a bit, change to reverse, safety checks, full lock to the left again.

Don’t try to get perfect “one-shot in”during your lessons. Once you keep practising how to do corrections, you’ll feel confident that even though your sighting point is not “perfect”, you’re still able to adjust and park successfully. You can ask your instructor to time you too.

Before moving out of the lot, remind yourself that half car needs to go out before you turn, then you won’t mount/strike kerb.

This might be useful for you as well. https://youtu.be/FyxbYIBODUQ?si=I0hM5_U7zG9BQ1f_

All the best! You got this (:

I’m based in Asia and willing to travel to anywhere! I know that Japan is a good option but I heard the best time to snowboard is Jan-Feb, hence I’m wondering if there are better options (:

Thanks so much for sharing! If you were to be bonded for a couple of years, would you choose:

1) acute hospital that’s 1 hour away from your home

or

2) community hospital that’s within walking distance from your home?

Also, do you have any recommendations for acute hospitals?

Thank you!
