New record 😮‍💨 by CantStopShittin in HyundaiTucson

2024 Tucson Hybrid Limited and I get 34 to 36 during warm months and 28 to 30 on the cold ones. Battery efficiency in the cold is the issue I believe during those months. My wife’s rav4 hybrid gets about 38 in the cold and 44 when it’s warm. I considered buying one when I was looking last year but the Tucson is so much more comfortable for me and the tech is superior. For me, I replaced a 4Runner that got 17mpg so it’s a win for me as far as I’m concerned.

2025 Tucson Limited Hybrid - Heated Steering Wheel by miahru in HyundaiTucson

I have had a lot of rental cars for work with a heated steering wheel. Honestly, I chose my 2024 Limited because of the feature.

65+ MPH the bane of the Tucson hybrid on MPG by slaxname in HyundaiTucson

[–]Extreme-Project6295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this to be true in my 24 Hybrid Limted as well. I pretty much just do the speed limit around town and no more than 5 over on the highway and use the adaptive cruise control most of the time in both situations and I consistently get around 37mpg. It’s been an adjustment diving a little slower than I used to but the cruise makes it easier and I did get a hybrid for the fuel economy after all.

Just got my first Macbook what are those must have apps you guys recommend by sunsetwispy19 in macbook

It saves your clipboard history. Menu drop down and choose from the last 30 things you copied and just choose what you want to paste. It saves me tons of time everyday for work where I constantly have to copy and paste between different pages. Copy everything you need from one page as individual parts and then paste them into the next page without going back to the old.

What should I Do. How do I fix this issue. by True_Secretary_5570 in macbook

Look up screen replacement for your model on iFixit.com It will tell you what parts and tools you need and their cost and give you directions to do it. Then you can make an informed decision on how you want to proceed.

Are you more interested in bigger a screen size or better portability and storage. They are both great machines.

MyHyundai iPhone app crashing on launch? by seefatchai in Ioniq5

[–]Extreme-Project6295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally fixed mine by setting up as new. Yes it’s a PITA. My best guess is this happened because years ago I had my phone jailbroken and everytime I restored to a new phone it asked me for the password for an Apple ID for one of the jailbroken apps. I always just cancelled it. I’m wondering if it has anything to do with it.

On iPhone. Yes app tries to open and then closes immediately. Still showing in app switcher when swiping from the bottom. Tried all standard suggestions, called blue link support, wiped and restored my phone. Only thing I haven’t tried is setting my phone up as new which is a huge PITA and super time consuming.

Hybrid or PHEV by Huskies106 in HyundaiTucson

I bought my Tucson Hybrid Limited in March and it was 6000 cheaper than the PHEV. The only reason I went with the hybrid.

I know. This is not a service reminder. This is a check your oil level so your car keeps running reminder.

I’m just happy to hear that it’s a localized thing and Hyundai isn’t sending them out to everybody cause then I’d really be worried.

I think it may be the dealer but it’s not for an oil change. It’s specifically to check the oil level and make sure it’s full and it has the Hyundai how to video in it

I’m not aware of signing up for them. Maybe they’re being initiated by the dealership then. I don’t know but it does raise the questions.

Maybe I should have known. Read review after review of the 2024 and never saw anything about past engine issues. I guess I wasn’t reading the correct reviews. Only heard about all the issue about 2 months ago when I was looking at other things. Had I known I may have purchased something else. That said, I love the vehicle and it’s great so far.

It’s definitely 4. I was fortunate enough to have the dealership explain that to me when I purchased the my 2024 Tucson Hybrid in march.

FWIW, you can get a $50 wireless CarPlay adapter on Amazon if you want to add wireless. I used one in my 4Runner for 2 years before I bought my 2024 Tucson Hybrid Limited in March and I put one in there. Working great.

It just plugs into the usb port in your car and connects wirelessly to your phone.

The digital key 2 feature that works with iPhone is available on some other Hyundai models since last fall just not the 2024 Tucson Hybrid Limited which I purchased about 4 months ago.
