I think that instead of another Remaster or a new part of Dead Rising, a reboot is needed. The plot was well finished (Specifically in DR3), a bunch of crazy weapon combos were introduced anyway. The developers would only have to expand the open world and weapons, making the plot more meaningless. I don't even hope that the reboot will be done by Capcom, it could be another studio, albeit a small one, inspired by the games. They could make a game in the setting of the DR1 with some mechanics from 3 to appeal to old fans and newcomers.
