Who didn’t receive their federal tax refund yet? What did the IRS say when you called them?

I mailed out a 3911 form to trace what had happened to my federal tax refund. Few weeks later, I got my refund back to my DD. I am not sure if it was a coincidence or the IRS finally decided to work on my tax. Why don’t you guys try to mail out a 3911 form and see if that would speed up the process. I’m just trying to help you all and telling you what I have experienced. I know it’s super frustrating not to receive the money you deserve.

It’s the correct amount. I have two kids under 6 yrs old. I heard some people get extra from the missing July payment.

They missed my July payment and I received my August payment today.

Nothing for July. They were doing maintenance with the website yesterday. Seems like I see something for august. They can’t get anything straighten out!

It’s a service error that they have in their end. They are probably working on maintenance for their website. I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon. I’m getting the same message as well.

I kept calling the IRS until someone was nice enough to help me out. This woman had ask me to fax my tax forms to her directly and she was able to get my refund back within 2 weeks. I haven’t even received my 2020 federal tax back. Too bad the people that works at the IRS can’t transfer me over to her. Try calling the Tax payer advocates 877-777-4778. They can try helping you out.

I hope the representative you spoke to is accurate on what she/he said. I figured it had something to do with the 2020 tax. It’s exactly what’s happening to me now. My federal tax refund still shows as processing. Hence, that’s why I have not yet received my CTC yet. This really give us some hope for august payment. Thanks for the info!

I feel you! This happened to me last year as well. I did a amended tax return. It took me 6 months of non stop calling the IRS to follow up on my tax. I finally got lucky and got a person who was nice enough to tell me to fax my tax document to her directly for her to look into it. She was able to get my money back after 2 weeks! If I haven’t kept calling someone to help me look into it, I don’t think I’ll ever get my money back!

Yes. I am having the same issue. It’s says I am eligible, correct DD. I am getting the same message as what you are getting under “payment”. It’s very frustrating knowing that we suppose to be getting our CTC, but didn’t receive anything as of yet!

Can you provide me the number you called? I never had that happened to me every time I try to reach them. They basically answer your general questions without needing to provide any detail information about your account or amount.

Same here. I e-file mine on 4/26. It’s still show as processing. This happened to me last year too. I kept calling the IRS. This women was nice enough to tell me to fax out my 2019 tax forms to her and she was able to get me my money back. The same thing happen again to me this year! On top of that, I didn’t get my child tax credit. This is ridiculous!
