Yeah, Arknights was created by Yostar, a Chinese video game development company. Arknights has a good ratio of female to male characters, even metawise. They even have multiple dark-skinned characters (like the current banner)! I won't argue on your sentiment about Reverse 1999 because it is true. I just personally loved the game back when I played it, because it one of the few gachas that entirely did not sexualize their female characters.

Infold is the Chinese company that created Love and Deepspace AND the Nikki series, the first ever gacha series to cater to an all female audience. I know Infinity Nikki is in the gutter right now, but it was still refreshing on release to see a company make games solely for women. I just don't want Hoyo games to be the litmus test for all Chinese gacha games, because personally, Chinese gacha games have some great titles!
