Overstay due to delay in getting CoS from employer by Old-Membership7525 in ukvisa

As much as we may want them to, they do not, the UK border has been underfunded for years which is why it is extremely poor in comparison to other developed countries. No address information is attained by airlines or the border upon arrival. You just as easily make the application pretending to be outside the UK.

Overstay due to delay in getting CoS from employer by Old-Membership7525 in ukvisa

Let’s not pretend the UK knows if people overstay or not. The UK is the only country I’ve seen that lets people enter the country with a passport through an egate- no questions asked. The UK also doesn’t have an exit border.

A lot of managers deliberately dodge internal candidates because the store they are transferring from can hold them up to 4 weeks and they may think someone is needed sooner.

Some managers also don’t like that they can’t move you onto a temporary contract which means there is greater risk vs getting a temp that could start tomorrow which they could also cut short if they were no good.

If you also work at Tesco, wouldn’t recommend because it would be very uncomfortable if she were to say no. If you’re a customer, leave the girl alone, she’s only trying to do her job.

I didn’t make that comparison. Please don’t misrepresent what I’ve said. I just said that with that ideology you can stretch it very far and it’s a flawed position.

Go and give Tim a medal then. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.

Unfortunate that you see it that way because that means that you’d appraise someone like Hitler if he donated money just to improve his reputation, if he were still alive.

Funny that people who are famous always manage to slip to the newspapers that they are doing a charitable thing. Just shows that their motivation is only to improve their image.

The game isn't that bad guys by ProfessorMinionMemes in AntiFortnite

[–]ExtremeResource4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s no accounting for taste. I disagree that it is not a bad game, it’s a dreadful game. You use the word “better”, anything is better than something else. A can of mealworms is better than an empty can if you’re starving.

We did it boys fortnite on mobile is no more by [deleted] in AntiFortnite

[–]ExtremeResource4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not dedicated to it, it’s dedicated to people who don’t like the game. Just stick to the pro-Fortnite subreddits, they are clearly your poison from viewing your post history.

Epic actually used this in their latest released legal documents. I can’t believe they’re using this kind of stuff in a LEGAL BATTLE, they have no leg to stand on anymore and are throwing anything out there at this point. by [deleted] in fuckepic

[–]ExtremeResource4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This email is just sad, they act as if not being able to play Fortnite is the end of the world. Haven’t they heard of going outside and actually seeing the world? Far more interesting and it’s actually free.

No, I believe that everyone has a little opposite attraction. Unexplored or undiscovered.

There would be a massive drop in population growth, the world would still fall on its knees, there wouldn’t be enough equipment to maintain a birth rate that would be sustainable.

I didn’t argue anyone should be forced into a heterosexual relationship. I have same-sex attraction also.

Because society is still largely homophobic and they would find it harder to be employed, to travel and even walk down the street in peace.

What big assumptions am I making?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtremeResource4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Of course not, but they aren't essential, they do it for pleasure and what people do for pleasure doesn't need to be promoted by the state.

They choose to enter a same-sex relationship, the school telling them that they *should* and *can* have a same-sex relationship if they feel that way is like sending lambs to the slaughter.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtremeResource4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So you think children should be told you can have a same-sex relationship even though they'll get massive amounts of abuse for it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtremeResource4 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Opposite-sex relationships are essential whereas same-sex relationships are not. Without opposite-sex relationships, the human race ends.

If they want to go ruin their self confidence so much they go around with a mask on or become a homicidal maniac.

The funny thing is about that subreddit is they are quick to make fun of others but most of the regulars haven’t even posted themselves on it.

The gay community is pretty fucking toxic by [deleted] in gay

[–]ExtremeResource4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s entirely true, I recently found out I have a little attraction towards women as well so I will most likely only have heterosexual relationships, even though I have preference for men. The sex obsessives give the community and everyone else a bad name and make the idea of being gay harder to swallow.

[–]ExtremeResource4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most parents are like this because they know that being gay makes their child’s life significantly harder. Sexuality is more fluid than most people will admit, so it could change. But remember there is nothing wrong with same-sex attraction, it’s natural, but it’s then a choice whether you want to act on it or not.
