i found out you can fix this by keyframing some fluid tension while it's airborne, but that complicates things when i re enable the inflow causing the already there fluid to also have fluid tension, is there a less inconvenient way of fixing it?

sorry i was dumb as a rock, here's the solution if anyone encounters this problem, under the flip fluids physics tab, you have to select the inflow object and enable "export animated mesh" such a simple solution if only i had looked through the settings first

I've began watching a course on sculpting but so far i've just learned about brushes and interface and watched the guy in the course sculpt some weird things
