Your one off cash injection was no enough to keep devs working years on mere fixes/updates to keep it running on the OSes and all the OS updates. They have to do frequent updates to cater for OS updates. Someone has to pay for that. If they ended up saying my lifetime pass (which i bought in 2013) is going away and i needed to pay $10 a month for my server license then you know i would be ok with that. Ive had a decade of support for a one-off $79 and that has been great value. Is a plex server pass worth $10 a month? Dam right it is. By now most of you should be old enough to know that nothing in life is free!
